Q- DO YOU OFFER A DELIVERY SERVICE AND HOW WOULD THE PORCH ARRIVE?
A - WE OFFER OUR OWN DELIVERY SERVICE WITH OUR OWN VANS AND DRIVERS. ALL OUR PORCHES ARRIVE IN A SEMI BUILT FORMAT NOT 100S OF PIECES
Q- ARE THE PORCHES EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND INSTALL?
A - OUR PORCHES ARE REALLY EASY TO ASSEMBLE, EVERY PORCH WE MANUFACTURE IS DRY FITTED IN OUR WORKSHOP TO ENSURE ALL COMPONENTS AND SECTIONS FIT TOGETHER CORRECTLY. ON SITE THE SECTIONS THEN FIT TOGETHER SEAMLESSLY WHICH IN TURN SAVES MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF TIME
Q- HOW DO I CARE AND MAINTAIN MY PORCH?
A - we recommend using a clear tung oil for the initial 2 or 3 build up coats and then a final coat of clear exterior uv Cosmo oil. we do offer the option of first coat of tung oil which would be applied in the factory prior to collection or delivery this is worth adding on it will give your porch the initial protection from the elements throughout the duration of installation. following the build up coats we would then advise a further coat once every 6 -12 months. following this guideline will ensure that nice oak golden look all year round
Q- can you supply a drawing for my porch order?
A - once your porch is ordered you will shortly receive a cad drawing showing the layout with all relevant sizes we will then ask you to check and confirm. once approved your porch will then move into production if you do need to make any changes don't worry alterations can still be made just make contact with us via chat or tel. 01527 590776
Q- what type of oak are the porches made from?
A - we use a really good qp1 graded European oak is prone to slight cracks and splits and includes small knots, we do carefully select the oak sections throughout the manufacturing process to 'show off' the natural beauty and character of the oak. following the steps we mention in 'the how to care' section will help keep the oak in its most desirable state and will stand the test of time
